Itemic (Dresden/Germany) is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to set up a test automation framework for application, algorithm and unit regression testing.
Your Role
- Design and develop harness for automation of server components regression test suite
- Execute tests, analyse tests results and understand what the results indicate
- Integrate the unit tests into the build system
- Build process
Your Profile
- Experience in all phases of QA Life Cycle including writing test specifications, manual/automated test development, test execution, and defect tracking; in the areas of unit, functional and regression testing
- 3+ years experience in software engineering including development and quality assurance
- Working experience in Java, XML and Unit Testing, preferably using JUnit
- Experience in testing server products (RDBMS, Webserver, Middleware)
- Experience in writing test-plans and test-scripts and architecting solid regression frameworks
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in debugging java unit tests failures
- Preferably a Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- Build process / Build Management
