4. Information collected at this web site

For everyone who visits the itemic web pages, a web server automatically collates certain information: the visitor's IP address, the type of operating system that the visitor's computer uses, and the type of browser software used by the visitor.

From the IP address, we can determine the Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of the visitor's point of connectivity. Generally, Internet Service Providers assign IP addresses dynamically; that means that every time you connect to the internet, you do so through a different IP address which therefore is not linked to anything personally identifiable (such as your e-mail address). In a small proportion of cases, users have a fixed IP address, which would allow us to determine more specifically the source of a "hit" on our web site.
