The Advanced Scheduling module of the third generation (APS = Advanced Planning and Scheduling) optimally realizes orders (entered manually or taken over by the ERP system) depending on the actual existing resources and their capacities in terms of time and cost issues. This includes order fine scheduling and the result visualisation in the graphic control center. The structure and the functionality of the advanced scheduling module are geared towards their product specific requirements and planning models.
