MACHINE DATA | Machine Data Acquisition
The FACTORYY module for machine data acquisition offers various machine and system interfaces. It captures the actual condition of all machines involved in the production process. This includes the display of processes such as set-up, start or production. The machine load, possible standstills or reasons for malfunctions are also displayed, saved and evaluated. Via machine sensors or direct reading from the SPS, cycle times, quantities, running meters or interfering signals can be recorded and processed.
In order to integrate these into the automation level the following levels of communication can be considered:
- data-point oriented or variable-oriented (i.e. OPC, ADS)
- memory-oriented (direct SPS access)
- stream-oriented (i.e. TCP/IP, RS232)
- networking of serial link with terminal server
- field buses such as Profibus, CAN-bus, LON-bus, Industrial Ethernet, MPI-bus, H1-bus etc.
- proprietary links for SIMATIC-S7, SIMATIC-S5, OMRON, Beckhoff ADS, Mitsubishi Melsec, …
- DCOM, SOAP, CORBA, Message-bus
- database-oriented interfaces
- semiconductor-/solar-specific
- SECS/GEM
